01 — about
From the loading dock to the dashboard
I've spent the last 15 years focused on fresh produce — buying, selling, and keeping product moving from grower to shelf. At Westfalia Fruit I support the North American sales team, and increasingly the questions I'm asked are data questions: pricing trends, volumes, freight.
So I went back to school. I completed The Tech Academy's AI Software Developer Bootcamp, building a foundation in Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I'm applying it daily — turning spreadsheets and portal exports into insight the sales team can act on.
Off the clock: golf, running, live music, and landscape photography around the Pacific Northwest.
02 — skills
What I work with
Excel & Reporting
Advanced formulas, conditional formatting, Power Query refreshes, and recurring dashboards built to survive fresh data every week.
Python
Data cleanup and automation — parsing PDFs, scripting workflows, and small tools that remove repetitive work.
SQL
Querying and multi-table schema design in SQL Server — the next big focus on my learning roadmap.
Produce Domain Knowledge
Pricing, supply chain, ERP systems, and customer portals — the context that makes the numbers mean something.
